1997 Ford KA stalls when cold

Hello ,
I have a ford transit van which needs revving up when cold otherwise stalls- fine when warmed up

Please advise

Is it a Ford Ka or a Ford Transit , would also help if you said what engine is fitted .

try egr valve if transit or timing if both veichals

Most likely to be engine coolant temp sensor .

try checking air box as they sometimes can get a leak as well
