When changing gears car jerks for a short while(kangaroo juice). Seems to be worse in wet conditions.

well this could be anything from the clutch to a engine mount but try to get hold of some carb and injection cleaner spray this in to the inlet via the air filter to clean up any debri and see how you go from there first

Sound to me like you are suffering moisture on failing HT leads
