1998 Ford KA motor stops when changing gears

My Ford Ka is 1998. It starts very good and after driving for half an hour or so (i.e. when car is warmed) motor keeps stopping when changing gear, specially when on slow speed. I start the engine again and problem keeps happing when changing gear.
Any help?

You don't say what engine in car ? Many possible causes , could check ICV (idle control valve ).
