2000 Ford KA loosing sterring oil.

Car: Ford KA
Year: 2000
Categories: Engine & Drivetrain
I have a patch under the car as the oil seems to be come from just below where the colum comes out. Have tried to find it by cleaning it but no luck. Any ideas? Thinking of getting it repair but not sure how much or just carry on topping the oil up.

Im not saying you need a new steering rack but it is a common fault on kas. I was told nearly £500 just for the part.

Really have to find where leak is coming from to see if it is an economical repair or requires replacement .There are usually garages that specialise in steering racks etc. and they are normally a lot cheaper and quicker with repairs.Check your Yellow pages
