2000 Ford KA taping noise from engine

i have just brought this car and there is a taping noise from the engine sounds like tapets

Common complaint on that engine of noisy tappets , simple to adjust .Just make sure you set them to correct clearance ,as you can see from the post below . ( usually sticker on rocker cover )

please can you advice of the gap for the tappets on my ford ka 1.3 on 52 plate .ps gap when eng is cold

valve clearances are inlet .20mm and exhaust .30mm or .50mm it depends on the engine code, i would think yours is .50mm

Forgot to mention , engine oil level o.k and getting plenty of oil to rocker shaft ?
