2007 Ford KA heating and electric windows

can anyone help my heaters are blowing red hot even when turned onto cold and the a/c not working either :-( also the electric windows are not working i have checked the fuses and there is power going to the motor.

Usually the heater problem is the electronic coolant valve that fails (£30 from fords) it is found at the rear of the engine bay with 2 pipes going in and 2 going out.
In regard to the electric windows, I think it would be worth checking the wires in the door gap near the hinges, the flexing when the door is opened has been knowm to break the wires.
