Heater blowing cold even after changing thermostat.Both heater pipes are hot at the
rear of bulk going into heater unit.

Very common fault was heater control valve at bulkhead, but when faulty usually one hose was . cold .You say both hoses hot ?

Thanks for the reply,yes both hoses are hot.
Heater is blowing cold if i switch control
from cold to hot.Can you tell me what operates
in side the heater mechanically when you switch the heater control.Await your reply.

There is usually a flap at heater matrix which opens and shuts to allow / block heat into car .
