2003 Ford KA fm radio not working

The FM radio in my Ford KA stereo has stopped working! AM and Cd player are fine but FM comes on for a few seconds then nothing!
Any ideas?

internal fault with the unit if its a double din unit(twice the depth)replace with aftermarcket single din much cheaper and get a blanking panel to fill the hole
