2014 Ford KA sometimes the mileage flashes , but recently when i turn the key to start the car, the time keeps flashing , i’ve tried restarting it and it’s permanently flashing . what could this be ?

The time doesn't blink its the cars mileage that is flashing

Can possibly be caused by your car battery being low . Could get it tested at any fast fit centre or the likes of Halfords usually FOC and while you wait . May only need charging a bit or possibly replaced if any weak cells .
