2012 Ford KA engine warning light flashing

Car: Ford KA
Year: 2012
Variant: 1.2
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
The battery died on the Ka about 6 months ago. Since the battery has been replaced the yellow engine warning light constantly flashes. I understand it's supposed to stay on and not flash. A friend ran a test on this but could find nothing wrong with engine. Just wondered if anybody had any ideas. Thanks

Like should not be on when driving at any time .You need it scanned n to retrieve stored fault code .

Thank you, it had been but nothing comes up.

It looks like whoever scanned your car used a scanner that was not capable of interrogating all modules / systems and getting the codes . Forscan is an example that will do the job .
