On a journey when turning, the steering wheel locks, the engine fails and all electrics go off.
After stopping the engine can be restarted and everything seems fine. It happens again some time later!!!

Steering column coupling seizes up on that car , jamming steering .Could also check P.A.S fluid level

Power assisted steering , if fitted on that year / model.
