2003 Ford KA heating

just bought this car and the internal fan does not work at all and the engine fan does seem to be coming on . Has any one got any ideas

Check the fuse - number 12 in the fuse box underneath the instrument panel left of the steering column. See pages 81/82 of the owners' handbook. You should be able to see if the link has vaporised!

Oops - should have said RIGHT of steering column.

If fuse o.k , check for power at motor with meter or test lamp .Is engine coolant fan cutting in and out with temp or running all the time ? Check coolant level in header tank .
