1998 Ford KA loss of power and kangerooing

What can i do to cure this?

with out test driving car its hard . being a ford tech i would advise you to replace the ignition coil pack and plugs, due to sounds like a missfire if i can help furter text or call 07902004967. hope it helps

i also have a ford ka, and am experiencing the same problem. my car doesnt seem to be ticking over properly for a few seconds after starting the engine, then it judders in most gears until it seems to get enough power and is then ok. for example, when im going 40 miles and hour in 4th gear it seems ok, going up to 5th it seems to judder until it gets a bit more power. and the lights seem to be dimming and coming bright again when when car is juddering- like its losing power from the battery or something.
can someone help? anyone know what the problem could be, and whether it may be expensive to fix

Replaced fuel filter. Part cost £8.50, £40 man hours.

Problem completely fixed UNLIKE when I got my ignition coils and spark plugs changed, this was a temporary fix as the problem returned within 4 weeks.

I gather this is something that is often done when the car is serviced.
