In the last week my car has developed an intermittent problem. When trying to reverse it is as though the handbrake is on and also the handbrake becomes very tight.
This is now affecting my ability to move forward too.I have to almost force it backwards or forwards. Afterwards it can smell of burning when I get out of the car.

Need to have rear brakes stripped down to find out why they are sticking on, might be a good idea to replace the shoes / pads as they have already been burnt. Also need to check the discs /drums to see if there is any damage to those as well...
