2005 Ford KA won't start

Ford Ka won't start, last started up December, as been parked up in garage since then. Brought a new battery, but still won't start, ignition lights are coming on but nothing happens when you turn the key.. Can anyone help?

check the obvious like petrol level , replace spark plugs is a good idea if its been idle and repeated attempts to restart will contaminate the plugs with fuel

Thanks for the advise, got it sorted now, turned out to be the rely switch at the back of the fuse box, changed and starts up fine now.
