1999 Ford KA unusual bubbles from around spart plug???

Car: Ford KA
Year: 1999
Variant: 1.3
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Hi all, Im new to this site and have a few problems with my daughters Ford KA that I'm hoping someone can sort for me. Its an old V reg but only done 69k miles.

It developed a misfire and a juddering which seems to have been cured by fitting a new coil pack.
But I've now noticed a loss in coolant (about half an inch drop in the expansion take ove a 40 mile ride)and also small bubbles (like fizzy pop) around one of the spark plugs which seems to be damp/oily. I at first thought the plug was loose but it wasnt.

It starts first time every time, ticks over well, and seems to drive fine. Could the head gasket be shot?? If it is, would adding some coolant leak repair fluid help. I want it to last her at least 6 months so she can get some road sence. Its her first car and only just passed her test so dont wanna go buying an expensive one just yet.

Thanks for any info

Sounds like you have got a coolant leak around the spark plug area. Need to find out where the coolant is coming from. If you can't see it, then you may need a pressure test to find it. Don't think coolant repair solution would cure this one, but could be wrong. Also check for any oil leaks in the local area of the spark plug....
