Chugging after not being used for few weeks

This is my daughter's car who is away at uni.It hadn't been started for 4 weeks, is kept in the garage and I took it out this morning having let it warm up on the drive for about 5 mins first. After a couple of miles i felt the car was chugging a bit and not pulling properly. I was only in town so couldn't tell what it would have been like if i had tried to accelerate very hard. I am concerned about her going off in it when she comes home incase there is a prob with it. Could it just be something that will clear after a few miles as the car hasn't been out lately ? Any advice would be much apprecaited.

Hi, Welcome to the forum. It does sound like it just needs a good run, how long has it been stood? Have you put some fresh fuel in?

Get a tank of fresh fuel in it and give it a good run then let me know how it goes.

As long as it was fine before it should just be bad fuel

I got the clugging problem when i drive on road and i havent been driving for 2half weeks bec I was on holiday. I have put the fuel full but when i got home from hols the old petrol half way so i put new petrol up to full. so what i do about it, and when i drive uphill or reverse back and inside smell like gone off cabbage and how do i get rid of it.
