2002 Ford Galaxy electrical problem?

The rear windscreen wiper wont switch off, also the light on the dash for the heater plugs for the engine is flashing has come on at the same time and the side warning light on the dash has come on and wont switch off?! Any suggestions on where to start looking for the fault or what may be the cause?

Check for any broken wiring where it passes into tailgate .
