1999 Ford Galaxy starter motor

hi there, bought a galaxy 2 months ago, had no problem whatsoever, yesterday went from nottingham to east coast, started first time, as always, stopped half way for brekkie, when it came to starting, it was as if the battery was flat, all ignition lights were very bright, electric windows were working as normal,quick bump and started, drove rest of way, when it came to leaving coast, same thing again, quick bump and off she went, drove back with lights on, they were very bright, came to it today, turned key, nothing, as if battery flat, only prob we did have was every now and again, before the dreaded no start, was when i turned the ignition key, used to get loud screaming from starter, any info would be greatly appreciated.
