2000 Ford Galaxy no parking sensor alarm

have followed operator instructions to the letter cockpit light flashes but no audible alarm,could the previous owner have used a disable switch?

Don't know whether there is a disable switch, but maybe there is a loose wire somewhere!!!.

Common fault on some Galaxy's was the control module for the parking sensors under the front passenger seat getting soaked with water due to leak .
