1997 Ford Galaxy lights don't seem to work right

the dashboard lights have goin out but come back on now and again the back lights are very dim and when i put the fog lights on all the lights in the car goes dim also i have a problem starting the car sometimes

Check alternator output / charging o.k , also panel bulbs .

If knackered ,fit a replacement alternator .Simple two min job with a meter to test .
