Coolant fans not working

Hi can ant one help I have a ford galaxy ghiaa 2.3 x reg but the duel fans are not working can any one tell me ?
1/ DOES IT HAVE A FAN SENDER SWITCH TO TELL THE FANS TO COME ON AND IF SO WERE IS IT LOCATED OR DOES ALL RUN THROUGH A RELAY ????????
