2000 Ford Galaxy wont get out of gear gararge told me it's the propsharft

Variant: 1.9 tubo man
when you put it in gear it wont come out to ghange i have to turn of the the car to get it out the garage told me it's the propshaft fault and i need a new engin

sounds like a clutch fault. no prop but driveshaft will only cause a problem when car is in motion. take it to clutch check!

Just to confirm , you dont have a propshaft .Get a second opinion .

are you able to select gears ok?does the car come out of gear if you dip clutch,is it a gear selection problem you have or clutch problem,you need to give more info on the fault

If it comes out of gear when engine off , sounds like it could be clutch fault as suggested by " mr suzuki "
