Coolant?

i have a problem with my GALAXY, i top up the water and add anti freeze and also check up (and top up, if necessay) every week. have recently had a light appear on the dash that sys "stop, check coolant". what does this mean? Many thanks Carla

Could be faulty coolant level sensor , but you should not have to top up every week .

thank you for replying so promptly, i dont top up every week, was meant to type i check every week! can you also tell me if i have to put water in the actual radiator itself?

you top up the cooling system via the expansion bottle located on the left hand side of engine bay behind battery,check the coolant sensor that is in the expansion bottle

Mis read your post re. topping up .Just top up header tank and it will reach rad .
