2003 Ford Galaxy not changing gear - no power

The car is auto transmission and when taking off there is no power. I have had it at the garage and they can not find what is causing this. It is worse at the inital start off and once going seems to be ok until it has to go up hill the power just dies! Please anyone enlighten me???

Suggest getting a diagnostic scan and see what shows .Could be engine or auto transmission fault .
