2001 Ford Galaxy windows come down when i have locked car....

sounds like you have a wiring problem,check the wiring harness that goes from the body tp the door,make sure that none of the wires are chafed and touching anywhere.also check the wiring behind the door trim is not damaged,

This is same problem with a Mondeo and will probably be same fault with your car ,

I have a 2001 ford mondeo (new Shape). My problem is that the electric windows are opening on their own? It happens when i leave the car unattended and i return to find all four windows open? Its happend four times in the last six months. My local garage hasn't got a clue, can you help?

This is part of the global closing and opening. try to reset by pressing and holding the unlock button untill all the windows have opened, then press and hold the close button untill allth windows have closed. then use as normal. if fault still on it will have to go to your local dealer

withreference to last response do you mean open and close all windows using the key fob in the door or doing this manually usuing the window buttons within the car? as my ey fob doesnt work...changed battery and still not working when i have reset it....this is a major problem,i have to disconnect my battery where ever i go as i tend to park up and when i return all windows are down....
