1999 Ford Galaxy glow plug light staying on longer

my car diesel TDi 1999,, after fitting new engine coolant temperature sensor i have notice the glow plug light takes a lot longer to go out (15 seconds) hot or cold engine,, use to take 1-2 seconds, can anyone help.............

its because the glow plug have now picked up an ecu reading from temp sensor, and now they r actually working
