2000 Ford Galaxy lack of power after 2000 revs

I have had diagnostic check by RAC nothing revealed.Car starts perfectly,power just dies after 200 revs,apart from that all functioning well.

Ever had the fuel filter changed?
And nothing against the RAC but these are side of the road guys,
no offense,
but that kind of limits them.
Might do better with a garage that can devote a bit more time.

Agree with 1/4 drive on taking it into a garage for checking and especially with comments about breakdown " mechanics " and their diagnostic skills / opinions .
