Heating not working

Hi the heating in our ford galaxy ghia stopped working it all lights up ect fan works when powered up but the heating just wont go on can hear it click when you change the airflow the windscreen is a heated one and that works so does the rear windscreen heated also ...all sensors have been cleaned fuses and resistor changed and diagnostics ran but still not working any help aprecciated as would like to resolve this before winter is in full swing

Sorry its not 1988 its 1999 its the digital heating setup

Sounds like it may be the heater flap stuck or the actuator failed .The heater flap opens / shuts as hot air or cold needed .

Not sure on your car , but on some if you get under dash you can see if mixer/ blend flap is operating or not and can be moved by hand if not operating to give you heat as a temp measure .
