1997 Ford Galaxy rear wiper not working

Wiper not working, wired the motor direct from 12v supply and she works fine, stopped it half way, re-connected to loom switched on ignition and it moved to park position, my problem is that using the Haynes pic of control unit, it dosnt match my unit! so I have been trying to find either a fuse or a defective relay, ie which relay do I exchange? Help please

you should check the loom from the rear motor etc through the rear tail gate etc its very common for these to bocome damadged and cause no end of problems

Good call wiring loom shot, now replaced whole bad section between door and body
