1999 Ford Galaxy car wont start

Drove car for less than two miles from home, the engine cut out, lost all power, car will not turn over, fluid levels fine, electrics back on, will not turn engine, ignition barrel squealing when turning key, RAC guy said engine is seized up needing further investigation, any help would be appreciated

if you've been running engine without oil or if the engine has overheated then RAC bloke is correct
