Ford Fusion keeps telling me passenger door open when it’s not

Keeps telling me passinger door is open when it’s not and will not lock on central locking.

Common fault is caused by faulty , sticking sensor which is usually a micro switch in lock assembly .Often spraying lock , lock linkage with WD40 is enough to free off if that is the cause but may entail taken off door trim to get good access , Other possible cause could be damaged wiring in rubber sheath where it passes through into door from body A pillar
