2005 Mitsubishi Shogun the rear passenger door lock is in a permanent locked position

The rear door lock is permanently in the closed position and can’t be opened by any means including manually and central locking

You will have to remove the door trim and check linkage , door lock actuator and handle for problems . Sometimes a good spraying with WD40 and working by hand can clear it .Also check wiring where it passes into door for damage . Often no way to avoid damaging the door trim on removal with door jammed .
