1999 Ford Focus heater blowing variant hot and cold

my car is blowing hot and cold air variant the hot only stays hot for 40 secs then goes cold again ive changed the thermostat blew the matrix out can anybody help me with the problem

Could check heater control valve . Check hoses at bulkhead and see if both hot , one should be hotter than other . If not that try bleeding system .
