2010 Ford Focus heater not warm

Variant: 1.8TDi
Started my car this morning and initially the front screen was clearing, but then it was blowing cold air even though set on hot.

If not warm , check coolant level first .If o.k , could be thermostat stuck open or heater flap not operating .
