2002 Ford Focus dashboard lights lashing and dials flickering

There drives fine, but the dashboarding is not working. All the dials are flickering at the lower end of the gages, and the park, petrol, battery and engine lights are all just flashing.

The early focus had a problem with the dash cluster, im sure ford are aware of the problem.
If not the cluster, check your earth wires.
