Anti freeze/bleed radiator

on my 01 focus 1.8td, how exactly do i bleed the radiator after i drain it and add antifreeze?? how long does it take? i do not have a clue at all so any help if greatly appreciated,

Normally no need to bleed cooling system ,should self bleed .Make sure you have heater control set to hot and run car till heater blows hot , thereby coolant circulating o.k and thermostat open .Check level again when engine cold and top up if needed . Hope this helps you .

thanks i will try it, but my heater is playing up atm, rarely blows out hot air

carry out as per the first solution given,may be worth changing thermostat if heater not blowing very hot may be stuck open slightly
