i think that my radiator on m fiesta may be blocked i have been told to take the thermostat out and run it without it would this be a safe thing to do

Thats ok to do as long as its not for too long as the engine will overheat and cause damage. Get down to halfords they have some good Rad flush products down there. That will sort it.
