After the first day of heavy snow i had to use my car. It started sraight away but then cut out immediately. Turned ignition off then tried to restart but wouldnt turn over. The digital display was blank with lines across it and all the usual lights were on.The car did start with a battery booster but it was running rough until warmed up

Test battery and alternator .

That was my first thought but i havent been able to get to a garage yet

Could stick battery on charge .

I dont have a charger. Could the rough running be if the battery went flat the ecu has to "relearn" the engine
