Engine cuts out
1998 Ford Fiesta Finesse

Occasionally, when deaccelerating and braking the engine has cut out and car ground to halt. oil light comes on. But then engine starts first time no probs and car fine any suggestions?

Replies and fixes

Check , clean or replace if needed , idle air control valve . Also clean throttle body . There are aerosol sprays you can buy at any car accessory shops , an example below
