2007 Ford Fiesta engine too hot warning

Car: Ford Fiesta
Year: 2007
Variant: Ghia
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
I have a Fiesta Ghia which the battery ran down, I have boosted the battery with booster leads but the starter motor does not turn.
It just gives an engine fault of "engine too hot" although the engine is cold.
Any advise most appreciated.

well if you have had booster cables across the battery and the starter motor does not turn then i would you have a burnt out starter motor or a wiring fault ie fuse ignition side check fuses

Thanks for the reply, have checked fuses & found a 3amp fuse burnt out. Replaced fuse & now running OK.
