Ford Fiesta indicator /headlight fault

I have just bought a front damaged fiesta , which has been repaired and runs well but found when i indicate left or right , the headlight illuminates on the same direction , i cant find any information about anyone else having a similar problem apart from a welsh lady who has also had no luck in finding out the problem, any positive leads would be gratefully received TIA

On some Fiestas the DRL changes to indicator flashing which is normal , is this what you are seeing ?

My fiesta doesn't have DRL , I understand how that works as my wife's Golf has it,

Well it should have them and is a legal requirement . EU law required all cars and small vans produced since 2011 to have daytime running lights

Only just got the car , but when running their are no DRL on, plus I thought when you indicate that the DRL cancelled on the direction of indication, I've just spent 20 min scrolling through the menu's to see if it's an option but didn't find anything linked to DRL only 1or 3 flashes of the indicator

There is no setting in the menu for DRLs
