2000 Ford Fiesta not starting

Variant: zetec s 1.6

The car will run fine then decide not to start when turned over all electrics work when the problem occours but the engine will not start, i can bump start it then it will run but as soon as its turned off it wont start again, i've tried replacing the starter motor it went well for a few weeks and then started again i'm at a loss with it but i just love the car so much i would ot want to let it go :(

have you checked the battery and charging system? is their a drain?>

goes with a bump start ! check the condition of the crank sensor --- remove and clean and check the resistance with an ohm meter.

when it does not start you need to try and check the power at the starter switch wire to see if you have power when the key is in start position also is the earth wire been fitted correctly and tight to the earth point(starter/gearbox housing)
