Engine Cooling Fan Fault

2009 Ford Fiesta 1.6 diesel Eco
Car: Ford Fiesta
Year: 2009
Variant: 1.6 diesel Eco
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
When starting my 2009 Ford Fiesta the Engine Cooling Fan starts (on a cold engine) and wont turn off after the ignition has been turned off. (I have to dis-connect the battery to stop the fan or it will run the battery flat. Any ideas what this problem is?

Possibly sticking relay ? should list relays in owners handbook .
