2002 Ford Fiesta door warning light

Hi all.
Months ago i was changing my lighter Fuse. Once id done i ran the car and saw the my door warning light was on, of course all the doors are shut.
I did some research and worked out that its a common fault.
My dad tried taking the front passangers inside door trim off to look at the lock as he thinks its a pressure sensor. However, we had the Haynes Manual and tried to follow it.
Gave up in the end as it was to much work to do.
We think its that door as he pushed a screwdriver in the lock, all the sensors/catches sounded the same but that one and when i shut the door hard, the light flicked off then on again.
Someone said it might be the boot lock but it seems fine, iv sprayed WD40 inside the locks but nothing.
My indecators don't flash anymore when i deadlock the car and my interior light will alway be on if its in the 'On' even when the cars locked.
Also my dash seems to reset when i start the car, was told its low voltage from the battary from the light being on.
Its just getting hard to drive and always seeing it now.

It's usually a micro switch which is part of the lock assembly .With this sticking it means the light will be on continuously draining the battery as it thinks the door is open and affecting the lock operation also . WD40 often works , if not new lock assembly needed .Battery may only need charging once lock switch fixed .

Just another thought , make sure there are no broken wires/ wiring in the rubber sheath where it passes through into door from A pillar .
