2006 Ford Fiesta starting problem

The car will start fine for about a week and at least once every two weeks will not start.
When it doesnt start i will turn ignition off start again with accelerator depressed and will start.
Battery is not the problem as i have had that checked.
Any suggestions on what it could be?

Dependant on mileage , when were the basics like plugs last checked / replaced ?
