2004 Ford Fiesta failing to start after new battery and starting up system been checked and all working properly

Car: Ford Fiesta
Year: 2004
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
A couple of days ago my car wouldn't start without a jump start. I took the car to Halfords for a battery check, which came back as me needing a new one. I had the new one fitted and drove away, everything was fine. The next morning I went to start the car and it turned over but couldn't power the engine. I tried again and it worked but seemed to have trouble keeping its revs up. When I pulled out of the junction the car lost power and stopped and the battery light came on. Managed to get it started again and went back to Halfords, battery was checked again and was working properly, the man said it sounded like my air filter wasn't drawing enough air in and recommended I tried renewing it to see if that solved the problem. Please can someone help?

First thing I would check / replace if needed would be the spark plugs if engine was turning over o.k

Prone for misfire issues and spark plug issues ,That maybe why your car is not starting .may require plug,s and grease applied to spark plug leads .air filter I do not think so.

Unless the air filter was choked , would doubt it was that .But if original , worth checking as it could be running rich but you have to remove it anyway to check or replace plugs , so check then.
