Hi little ninja,and busted knuckle thank you.Have done all you suggest,but still the same.Got a code U0121,but I am told that this could be a ghost code as the system is down.All the experts I have spoken to suggest that it is the actuators on the gearbox,it has a history of gear change problems.Ford have had it,but of course it started up no problems,and drove around for weeks.There is current to cluster as there is a faint green light behind the glass,and the analogue bit fires up OK.What puzzles me is no warning lights on auto change,Not sure if it was an ABS fault if it would shut down the systems. It is nice to know that there are people out there willing to help. Thank you.
