Parking brake/no adjustment

handbrake ceased to hold, fitted new discs and pads but still no h/brake. are they self adjust or is there manual adjustment under car?

Check that levers on callipers and h/brake cables are not seized / sticking .

they are self adjust, if you get somebody to apply the handbrake while you are watching the rear brake calipers you should see the arm from the handbrake moving both sides. if this does not move one or both of your handbrake cables are seized and will need replacing. this happened to me recently couldn't do it myself had to book it into a garage.
