Ford C-MAX child lock malfunction - service req

Try pressing the window/child lock button on the drivers door arm rest a couple of times. If spraying WD40 , rather than hinges , spray into lock assemblies .Could also check the wiring where it enters into door frame for breaks . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D6ASFVY9BC4

Thank you for the suggestion. As shown in youtube link, i did press child lock button couple of times. But, that is only a temporary fix to start car moving. Error keeps flashing on display panel. I will try WD40 on the switches. Hope it will not do any harm to electric things.

Does your car have anti hijacking / autolock setting and if so is it enabled ? Check owners manual . Tried reprogramming the key remote ? Some models had a rear window lock button that could be pushed accidently . You said you checked the fuse , from what I can see there are multiple fuses covering central locking not the one . The water enters behind the exterior mirror cover(s) through an inproper sealing of the door wiring harness, causing a short circuit in the driver door module (DDM) or passenger door module (PDM), and sometimes disables the front door speaker(s). This should be rectified by sealing the door wiring harness, checking / renewing the DDM / PDM and repairing the damaged electrical connector(s). Thank you 'whittingehame'. These fuse info definitely applies to my car and I did check Fuse 6 and Fuse 7 of Load compartment. They are all good. No issues with fuse. Seems issue water ingress as you suggested might have damaged switch on rear door. I have to find a way to swap power window switches and find out if it is an issue with switch.
